Founded in 1991 having a vocation to produce innovation and quality in support of showing, Proxima is involved in the realization of digital visual effects and digital post production for cinema, television and publicity campaigns.

To Proxima, the best results are achived by the harmony among the digital artist’s technical and creative talent to the best advanced technologies.

The supervisors’ skill and experiences, the technology, the experience acquired thanks to the collaboration with the most famous directors are the winner characteristics of a competent, well trained structure for facing up to the italian and foreign market and that with an extreme flexibility.


PROXIMA IS STRUCTURED IN FOUR STRATEGICALLY AREAS:


Visual Effects

They are the historical core-business of the society, that it has been refined its experienc thanks to the own continuous technological updating and to the comparison by the most different marketing requests, throughout these years.


Digital Intermediate

It is the advancest boundary for visual formulation (processing-development) of cinematographic image, that it allows to be present on digital platform in an agile way and with the maximum artistic control over the whole film.

Digital intermediate offers a great numbers of advantages, for example: the preservation of the original negative, a further versatility in the realization of visual effects, the color correction for real time, a perceptible reduction of working time and the possibility to alter the editing in each moment.


Digital Animation

Getting in the animation world is the new challenge for Proxima’s staff.

Artistically and technologically ready to the great jump, Proxima has been screening several plans and it is waiting to find the final idea to fling itself in digital animation.


Digital Restoration

Proxima is able to restore hit films to any typology of deterioration, achieving the best qualitative results in time and with cheap prices with the release of home video or cinema

quality.
